• Production of drawings using the latest AutoCAD and other Autodesk software.
• Creation of detailed engineering calculations in accordance with the relevant British and European standards using both Excel based calculations and structural analysis software where required.
• Production of all relevant documentation in adherence with company procedures, CDM regulations, British Standards and Industry Guidance.
• Frequent travel to operational sites throughout the UK for surveys and meetings.
• Liaison with company managers, supervisors and foremen, as well as client representatives to ensure optimum solutions are reached.
• Provision of guidance, advice and technical support to management and supervision.

Experience Required

• HNC, HND or Degree in civil, mechanical or structural engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the design of scaffolding structures is preferred – experience in temporary works, civil, mechanical or structural design may also be considered.
• Problem solve, organise, prioritise and deliver within a high-paced environment.
• IT literate and fully proficient in the use of Autodesk products and Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of structural analysis software would be a distinct advantage although training will be provided.
• Commitment, drive and the ability to work on one’s own initiative.
• A full U.K. driving licence will be required.
